Virginia is for Lovers

We are now officially moved into our new house in Virginia and have loved exploring all the fun things here! There was quite a bit of rain for a few days but we still visited the aquarium and farm at Maymont park.

We have also been busy doing a few renovations in our house. Jeff worked night and day getting the kitchen and bathroom floors tiled.

Before we laid the tiles down Annabelle wrote all our names on the floor in a special place. She took a picture of each name and here is her spot, along with her little toes.

We took a break from working/unpacking and visited Virginia Beach for the day!

We all had fun as a family jumping in the waves and swimming in the water. The girls were quite brave to swim around the waves and go pretty far out in the water. After the beach we stopped at Tucanos Brazilian Grill for my free birthday meal.

There's my 28-week prego belly. This baby girl is getting big!

We celebrated this special Daddy on father's day and took a walk around a nice big duck pond near our house.

Our family reflection...

This little girl has a plethora of expressions that are always making us laugh.

Annabelle likes taking her own pictures and she captured these ducks quite nicely.

We have loved our neighborhood pool and Annabelle sure enjoyed her swim lessons!

We celebrated my 27th birthday and ate some pizza at the pool. Later we went to dinner, shopping, and Cheesecake Factory for my favorite Oreo cheesecake!

We loved having the Cunninghams stop by for a quick visit during their long drive. Elsie and Annabelle got some good baby practice in.

We enjoyed seeing Noah's excellent ninja skills. He wanted to teach them to Annabelle but she wasn't quite interested in ninja training.

  1. Ha! I love Annabelle's face. I definitely don't think she's ready to be a ninja.;)
