During Jeff's vacation month we were able to meet some of my family in Disneyland! It was an absolute blast and I'm so thankful that we were able to go. My sisters Jennifer, Julia and her family, Lauren and her family, and my parents were there. We missed you Katherine and Keith! We rented a house with Disney themed rooms just a mile from the parks and it was nice to just walk there everyday. We had a 3-day pass to Disneyland park and the California Adventure park. I think Annabelle had the BEST time of her life!

These are girls on a mission to find Sleeping Beauty's castle.
Seeing the princess castle was Annabelle's most anticipated moment. For months on a daily basis she talked about going to the princess castle. She even packed her bags a few times and pretended to get on the airplane. When she finally saw it her face was priceless, but we didn't get it on camera! She held a huge smile for about 2 minutes.
Annabelle and Hailey on a ride with Aunt Lauren.
Elsie waving "hi" to them.
The Nemo submarine ride was cute and Elsie really liked it.
Watching the Star Wars Jedi training. Bradlee got picked to be a Jedi in training.
We watched the Beauty and the Beast show and then the girls met princess Belle.
Our house had a pool and hot tub that we played in after coming back from the parks each night.
We got Annabelle Sleeping Beauty pajamas to wear while visiting her castle! Here she is with her cousin, Hailey. We slept in the princess room.
Riding the trolley to the park with this hottie.
Radiator Springs in Cars town was really neat. Here are all of the cousins!
The little kids met Flick, and Annabelle drove a car in the Bug's Life world.
The princess rides were of course all a hit with the girls.
Annabelle with Grandpa.
I despise ferris wheels but for some reason I got on it. We enjoyed a lot of fun roller coasters and several other fun rides. Jeff's favorite was the Tower of Terror which he rode 3 times.
The girls and Aunt Jennifer riding the ferris wheel. Elsie really got attached to her awesome Aunt Jennifer.
We saw the World of Colors show. It was pretty awesome.
The kids were partied out and all fell asleep on the walk home the night we stayed out later.
My sisters and I went running some mornings and the kids decided they wanted to go running too, so around the block they ran.
One of the days we went to Seal beach.
Elsie and Hailey ready for our walk to Disneyland! We pushed around 5 much needed strollers.
Julia, Camden, Dad, Annabelle, Jennifer, and Lauren waiting in line to see the princesses! I'm thankful that we went to Disneyland at a great time of year. The weather was great and the parks were not horribly crowded. We figured out a good way to hit the most rides and take advantage of fast passes too. There is a lot more strategy to discovering Disneyland than I realized.
Annabelle wasn't too sure that this was Ariel since she wasn't in her mermaid outfit.
Sleeping Beauty!
Cinderella!
Riding the teacups.
On our jungle safari.
What's Disneyland without cotton candy?
More swimming in the pool at our house!
That looks like so much fun! Glad you guys got to enjoy some family time and Disney!
ReplyDeleteYou guys had a fun break! I love that picture of the kiddos passed out in the strollers! I think that means you had a great day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like that was an awesome trip! That rental house sounds amazing, too. How nice to be so close to the parks and have a pool.
