Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Newport, Boston, Salem

After Disneyland we continued our travels in the northeast. Jeff and I left the girls with Uncle Todd and Aunt Crystal and went to Cape Cod for a night. It was my first time leaving them overnight but they did great and so did I. Jeff and I stayed at our first bed & breakfast and it had some cute bikes for us to ride around part of the cape.

This is our charming bed and breakfast built in the early 1900's. It used to be used as servant quarters for a nearby hotel.

We went to Chatham beach and didn't want to leave.

We found the most amazing pizza place on the cape.

We went to a quaint little sailor-like restaurant in Hyannis, The Black Cat.

The next morning Todd and Crystal met us with the girls in Falmouth and we rode a ferry over to Martha's Vineyard.

It is not easy getting around Martha's Vineyard without a car. Annabelle took a ride on the luggage.

This was our hotel in Martha's Vineyard.

Our hotel was right by the Edgartown lighthouse.

There were some beautiful houses on the island and many were old captain's homes.

There was the coolest merry go round by Todd and Crystal's house in Providence, Rhode Island that dated back to the 1800's. This was a real classic merry go round and it was fast.

Elsie enjoying some donut at Todd and Crystal's.

They had some beautiful sunsets over the bay in their backyard.

The girls partied with Crystal and Todd the night we left.

Our ferry ride to the island.

Some beautiful ladies...

More pictures of the Edgartown lighthouse.

Jeff's treasure he found on the beach.

We also spent a day in Newport, Rhode Island. I loved these pictures of the girls trying to "save" each other. When they finally reached hands Annabelle said, "I'll never let go!"

Newport has some amazing mansions from the late 1800's. We went to the Breakers Mansion.

We spent a day in Boston, MA.

We also visited Salem, MA. It was a great time of year to visit here.

We were able to spend the day in Salem with the Moli family. Andri Moli was a foreign exchange student that stayed with Jeff's family for a few years in high school.

Those benches had the names of people who were hung in the 1700's.

Jeff and Andri.

Most of these graves dated back to the 1700's.
