We had a very merry Christmas!

Our neighbors had a grand Christmas light show synced to music and we would take a walk to it every night in December.  Annabelle was even featured in the newspaper watching the lights.

Random people tell me that Elsie is a very "healthy" (aka chunky) girl.  We love it!

We also love this girl's crazy and pretty curly hair.

Elsie loves to swing!

Jeff finished up his OB/GYN rotation in December and then we headed to Maryland for Christmas!  We stayed at a hotel in Dallas before flying out the next morning and we made sure to use their swimming pool.

Elsie enjoyed planting her face in the water and splashing.

Annabelle was very excited about flying on the airplane to "Baba" and "Papa's" house.

We were able to make a family trip to the D.C. Temple.

We helped my Dad make his traditional Christmas sugar cookies.

Grandpa was the Polar Express Train Conductor.  We went to see some Christmas lights.

All of my sisters, my brother, and their families were home for Christmas.  It was so much fun to all be home for Christmas!  We had 22 people in the house and it was a blast!

Enjoying Christmas morning with my love!

Elsie is presented with her puffs...

...And she was not pleased by them.

Annabelle gets extra excited when she see's Uncle Keith.

I made the mistake of mentioning she might get a baby doll and so all morning long she was asking to open her baby doll.

We had a Jackson family olympic day.

Somehow Grandpa cut his forehead?  I like the bandaid.

Annabelle and her cousins shared some yummy treats.

Grandpa took the kids for a fun ride!

We visited a children's museum that had so many fun old and traditional toys.

The adults didn't find the museum quite as exciting as the kids did.

Elsie played with Grandma at the museum.  My Mom worked hard to make our visit wonderful!  Thank you for everything Mom & Dad!

My Mom made the girls some adorable matching outfits.  Annabelle was sick this day so she wasn't in to taking a picture.

We had so so so much fun over our Christmas break!  My Mom, sisters, and I were even able to have a girls day which included lunch, playing at a ceramics shop, a nice dinner, and a play at the Kennedy Center.  It was great to be home with family for the holidays!
Our trip home was not as fun.  Our plane was delayed and then it took an extra hour flying time because of the wind.  Let's not forget that Annabelle threw up on the plane and had diarrhea.  When we finally arrived at the airport it was too late for our hotel shuttle to pick us up so we had to wait for a taxi.  We eventually got home at 4 AM but we made it!  Annabelle was still sick for a few days after we returned home.

One day she fell asleep with her throw up bowl (it was clean) on her head.

And Elsie got some bottom teeth for Christmas!

  2. Camille and I always love looking at your guy's blog. That's awesome you guys did a Family Olympic day. Makes me miss the little Olympics we did your guys' place in Rexburg once upon a time. Jeff was one mean 'Jacks' player. :)

Glad you guys had a great Christmas!
