Natchitoches, LA

We have been having a great new year so far and I love the surprises of each new day.  Today in church Annabelle looked up at me and as she's rubbing her hand on my cheek she says, "you're so cute".  She is such a sweetheart.  The other day we were driving by some stores and Annabelle suggests, "how about we get some donuts?"  She has some great ideas.

Annabelle loves to play this game she made up, "shopping."  We pretty much walk around the house with our purses and strollers and pretend to shop for things.  We'll stop along the "bookstore" and read books, or shop in her kitchen for groceries and then have a pretend picnic.  She is developing a good imagination and I love to hear what she says during her pretend phone calls.

Annabelle discovered Jeff's longboard and had a blast playing with it.  "Again Daddy!"

We took a day trip to Natchitoches, LA yesterday.  It has some good southern history and we visited a few old plantations.

We love the oak alleys that lead up to the homes.

We walked around the historic district and ate some meat pies and homemade pizza.  It's a fun little place to visit.

  1. That top picture is great! Noah has been asking for Annabelle recently. He keeps asking if she can come to his house.:)
