"I don't feel well"

We spent Sunday night with the girls in the ER.  Elsie has RSV and was dehydrated so they had to give her an IV and administer fluids.  She has clearly not been feeling well.  Today she set a record and took a 4 1/2 hr. nap and yesterday a 3 1/2 hr. nap.  Annabelle has also been sick and been saying, "I don' feel well Mama."

Sometimes we forget that our 2-year-old observes our every move.

We were driving in the car and Jeff was annoyed with someone standing in the road so he says to himself "get out of the freaking street".  Then our very impressionable Annabelle says, "get out of the freaking street."

Annabelle was playing with Elsie and I guess Elsie wasn't cooperating because we hear Annabelle say to her, "Do you want to go to time out?"

We have a mistletoe hanging over one of our doorways and one day Annabelle asked me what it was.  I told her we give kisses under the mistletoe.  A few days later she was standing under it and telling Jeff she needed a kiss so Jeff said, "okay come here and give me a kiss."  She wouldn't move and said, "come here Daddy, I need a kiss here."  She then pointed to the mistletoe and Jeff realized that she wanted a kiss under the mistletoe.

Annabelle comes over to me and says "I'm sad Mama".  "Why are you sad Annabelle?"  "Daddy took it from me."  (Jeff had taken something that she shouldn't be playing with from her).
