Elsie's 3rd Birthday!

We had so much fun honoring our special Elsie girl on her 3rd birthday, April 17, 2015!!

She wanted "tiger cereal" for her birthday breakfast.

I'd say this picture portrays each of these girls quite well. Elsie's being a little wild, Annabelle's peacefully going with the flow, and Jane is happy to be surrounded by people.

After breakfast she opened her first present and then had some fun playing with it.

Then I had to get a picture of these 3 beauties in their matching shirts.

She enjoyed a snack and birthday show.

Next it was time to open another present. She loved the train set from Grandma and Grandpa Bushman.

The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed a birthday lunch on the porch.

Mommy's just trying to get in some birthday kisses.

Daddy got off work early and next on the agenda was a drive to Grandma and Grandpa Jackson's house for the weekend! Of course we needed some birthday decorations for our little car trip.

Before getting too far we had a surprise stop at the bounce house.

After the bounce house we picked up pizza and continued the party in the car to Maryland!

I asked her to smile for the picture.

She got to open a few more presents in the car; Hello Kitty fruit snacks, a sing-a-long CD, and a book.

One of her favorite shows right now is "Justin Time".

All this partying wore her out.

We got to Grandma and Grandpa's house to play some more and have a birthday treat! Leading up to her birthday she continually requested a Hello Kitty cake. Considering she's not much of a cake lover I made her a treat I know she likes and decorated it with Hello Kitty.

The birthday girl enjoying her peanut butter mudsliders.

She also enjoyed her yogurt drink, a classic treat when we visit Grandma's house.

Then she opened some more presents and loved this singing princess card.

Grandma Jackson made Elsie an Anna dress also!

Building their castles...

My cousin and her girls were also there for the weekend so they were able to join in the birthday fun. We played a quick game of pin the bow on Hello Kitty.

We sure love our special Elsie girl! She is full of sweetness and spunk, and we love every little thing about her! Happy 3rd birthday baby girl!
We had a fun birthday weekend at my parents house and continued the party playing with some McKay cousins too. The next day the girls enjoyed hours of fun in the hot tub, I enjoyed a nice 10-mile-run through Annapolis's historic downtown, and we picked up Cafe Rio and went on a picnic! The weather was beautiful all weekend and Jeff practically lived on the front porch soaking it all in.
