February Fun

Annabelle and Elsie have been taking a ballet class together and are loving it! They sure make some cute ballerinas. It's fun that they are in the same class as a few friends from church also.

We hosted a playgroup valentines party at our house and the kids passed out valentine cards to each other.

Valentines day was fun with pink milk, pink heart pancakes, and later we went to lunch with Daddy.

The girls loved the matching ballerina pajamas they got for valentines day but Elsie had enough by this point.

 Jane enjoying some sisterly love.

Jeffrey boy is getting old. We had fun celebrating his 31st birthday!
We ate birthday cake by the fire.

We got about 8 inches of snow last week and soaked up the fun. A few days of snow is just right and then it's nice to have it gone.

We went sledding in the fresh falling snow one night.

Some rosy chubby cheeks.

After some cold night sledding we enjoyed some hot cocoa and cookies.

The next day I took the girls sledding with some neighbor friends.

The sled hill was much farther than I anticipated and it became exhausting pulling 3 girls in the sled through the snow uphill both ways. I decided to take a break and put Annabelle to work.

The fun at the sled hill made the adventurous journey well worth it.

Jane was a trooper and took a little snooze during the sled ride.

Annabelle and Elsie prepared a lovely tea party for us one day complete with marshmallows, crackers, dried blueberries, granola bars, goldfish, and twizzler bites.

On occasion Annabelle and Elsie enjoy using Jane as their little doll.

Elsie loves taking pictures and I like how you can see her little fingers in this one.

A few more of Elsie's photography skills.

  1. I love the pictures of your girls in the snow. So cute!!! I think people that don't get much snow have much more fun in it than people who have snow all winter. I never take my kids out to play in the snow. Go away snow!!!
