Christmas

We took the girls on our polar express activity around Richmond. We went to Maymont park and met Santa. Annabelle was a bit shy towards Mr. Clause.

Then we went to the Jefferson hotel and enjoyed their beautiful Christmas decorations. I love this hotel. It opened in 1895 and is amazing. From here we went to see some Christmas lights in our neighborhood. The girls also enjoyed snacks in our car/train ride.

Jeff had a 2-week vacation over the Christmas holiday! We went to my sister's house in Boise, ID to spend Christmas with my family. We stopped to see the lights at the D.C. temple on our way to Annapolis. We spent the weekend there with my parents and then flew out of Baltimore. My parents flew back with us and after some flight delays we finally made it after getting lucky with standby.

Matching Christmas tights and cuddles with Grandma Jackson.

This girl was on a mission to get to our plane. She is very friendly with strangers to the point that it makes me nervous. Here she is giving a random hello.

We finally made it to the Smith home! We had a wonderful time with everyone! Oops Julia spilled some chocolate milk...

We went to an aquarium and were able to pet stingrays.

Sweet snuggles with Daddy.

I just love this girl's eyelashes.

Christmas Sunday

The girls had a blast playing with their cousins!

Annabelle, cousin Haley, and Jane hanging out with Grandpa.

Good helpers and the lovely Smith family.

Making Christmas cookies with Aunt Lauren. Elsie's excited.

Christmas morning was rowdy but so fun! We were able to have my parents there along with three of my sisters and their families. We sure missed you Jennifer and Keith!

On Christmas eve we got snow and had a white Christmas! The kids built a great snowman.

Grandpa conducted the story of Jesus's birth. Annabelle was Mary, Elsie was a Shepard, and Jane was baby Jesus.

The kids gathered for a movie party on Christmas eve.

Annabelle and Haley.

Elsie enjoying some of her stocking treats.

We know Grandma likes chocolate.

Sisters giving hugs and thank you for the presents they gave each other.

That cut on Jeff's nose is from his awesome snowboarding tricks.

Just hanging out and enjoying Christmas morning.

Jane's eyelashes are unbelievably long and curly. I just love them.

Annabelle wearing one of the dress-up dresses she got.

Jane has two girl cousins within a month of her age. Here's the three little triplets.
