Grandma & Grandpa Bushman Visit Richmond

Jeff's parents were able to come visit us in Virginia and be here for Jane's baby blessing. We enjoyed spending time with them and showing them some of Richmond! We love Carter Mountain so we took them there to enjoy some apple cider donuts and pick some apples. The girls also enjoyed some vanilla ice cream or as Annabelle calls it, "tanilla asscream".

Annabelle and Elsie loved picking apples and exploring the orchard again.

Elsie and her many facial expressions.

We also went to Belle's Isle and had a picnic on the rocks.

Our picnic spot!

We have loved having a real fire in our house on cold days!

Annabelle got a trophy for playing soccer and she wanted to make one like hers for Elsie.

We went to downtown Richmond and explored the beautiful history there. We also made a brief visit to show Jeff's parents the hospital where he works at VCU/MCV.

This is the Virginia state capital building.

Baby Jane is a lot of fun.

The best part of raking leaves is jumping in the piles...

Elsie is always a good helper.

A blast to the past. Jeff's Mom brought some of his books from his school boy days and it was fun learning more about little Jeff.

  1. I love how Annabelle pronounces vanilla ice cream. I like picturing Jeff's reaction to it even more though.:)
