Goodbye Fall, Hello Winter!

We are loving this great time of year! Elsie is a great little Mommy and she loves her baby dolls. She insisted to hold this one while she ate her breakfast.

Jeff's Mom was able to visit with me and the girls for a few days while Jeff was traveling to some residency interviews. Annabelle helped Grandma Bushman make donuts in her new donut cake pan. Elsie helped eat them.

We had a Christmas movie party and ate popcorn and watched the "Polar Express."

One day after naps the four of us cuddled on the couch while these sweet girls slowly woke up.

Since Jeff has several residency interviews in the east over the next few weeks, we all came back to Maryland to spend Thanksgiving with my parents and stay while Jeff travels back and forth to his interviews. It was very cold Thanksgiving morning so we got all bundled up to go outside and Annabelle helped Grandpa rake leaves. It has been a family tradition to rake leaves Thanksgiving morning.

Thanksgiving morning Annabelle helped me make a list of what she is grateful for. She came up with the following,
Annabelle is thankful for: pies, green beans, Elsie, Mommy, Grandma & Grandpa, Daddy, Joseph Smith, pretty trees, Keith & Jennifer, Jesus & Heavenly Father, pretty birds, Tigers, Boz, scriptures, prayers, Daddy can be a doctor, healthy body, she can play with Boz, she can jump in the leaves, soft bed, Grandma’s cooking, toys & blankets, and cousins & friends.

Grandpa took the girls in the hot tub for some Thanksgiving relaxation.

The next day Grandma and Grandpa took us all to see the movie "Frozen" and then we visited Santa at the mall. Annabelle would not even make direct eye contact with him and we didn't bother bringing Elsie close to him. Jeff and I have also been able to go to the movies a few times and even got some free movie tickets when the fire alarm was set off during our "Hunger Games" movie. Of course I was eager to put up the Christmas decorations right after Thanksgiving. I think I've been listening to Christmas music since post Halloween.
