Our visitors from afar!

For the second week of Jeff's vacation my sister and her kids came to visit us all the way from Idaho!  My other sister was able to come too!  We had so much fun with them and we're so glad they made the long journey to come see us!  We did many fun things and made some great memories.
Annabelle was her cousin's little shadow and she did everything just like Clair.  She's in a big copycat phase and sometimes she mimics me to the T.

We visited SciPort discovery center.

The two babies had fun hanging out in the stroller together.

Aunt Jennifer is the greatest!

Playing at SciPort.

It was a lot of fun spending time with my lovely sisters.  We wish the whole family could have been here!

Jeff held an alligator when we went to the alligator farm.  We made sure our visitors were able to enjoy many delicious southern foods.  We had some alligator, etouffee, jambalaya, gumbo, catfish, fried green tomatoes, boudin, beignets, red beans and rice, and king cake.  We definitely ate a lot of food.

Brody and the boys were so nice to Elsie.

Playing some good old fashioned N64.

We spent a day at the lake.  Annabelle had so much fun playing with her cousins.  The morning they left she woke up and said, "where did cousins go?"

Our picnic at the lake.

Here's another example of Annabelle being a little shadow.  The girls are laying out...

...just like Aunt Jennifer.

Annabelle wanted her towel wrapped around her just like Clair.

We roasted hot dogs, s'mores, and hobo dinners on our fire pit.  Thank you so much for coming to visit us Julia and Jennifer!  We had a very wonderful time with you all!
