Our sweet Elsie is 6-months-old! Wow! She is such a joy to have in our family and we just love our two girls so very much. Jeff is still doing different rotations and he is currently leaning towards specializing in Emergency Medicine. I'm getting ready to run my first half marathon in a few weeks!
I love to see my girls play together. They laugh and take turns making each other cry. Annabelle gets a little carried away sometimes with showing her love and interest in Elsie. Elsie gets back at her by grabbing onto Annabelle's hair.
Elsie is rolling all over the place and scooting herself around. She loves to babble and growl, and she is always full of smiles and fun laughs. She is still not keen on eating solids and we just recently discovered she doesn't want to take a bottle so.... we are working on those issues. Let's hope nothing happens to me or she might go hungry. She has had problems with her tear ducts since she was born. They aren't draining properly and her eyes are always red, watery, and gooey. The pediatrician referred us to an ophthalmologist and she will probably be having surgery on her tear ducts within the next few months.
She is pretty good at sitting up by herself.
But sometimes she falls.
It's a good thing her big sister is always there to help her.
Elsie is a very easy going baby and we love getting to know her more each day. Annabelle is always coming up with new funny things to say and I love her enthusiasm for everything. The other day Annabelle asked Jeff if she could use his phone. He was using it so he didn't give it to her and she says, "Daddy please obey me." Oh dear.
Our ward had a halloween carnival last night and the girls were dressed up as "super hero girls."
Annabelle got her face painted like a cat.
The temperatures just cooled off this week and it has been some great fall weather.
I gave Annabelle some stickers to play with and this is what I found.
Elsie did not seem to mind that she was her sister's little toy.
Annabelle and her bear have matching pajamas.
We went to a nearby farm and had some fall fun.
This pit was full of corn kernels.
We went through the huge corn maze.
I just love this time of year!
Cute super hero girls!
