We have had such a fun summer and now I am so excited for fall! Here's what we've been up to lately:
Elsie girl had her 4-month doctors appointment. She is in 70% for weight and 50% for height. Annabelle and Jeff pushed her around the house in Annabelle's baby stroller.
Jeff got off early one day, which happened to be a day with some enjoyable weather, so we went to a nearby lake/beach to play.
Don't let this cute sad face fool you. She had so much fun!
She liked to run fast in the water.
Jeff and I sometimes like to call the girls our sour-patch girls. One minute their sweet, and the next their sour. This is our sweet Elsie.
Playing with Daddy! Jeff's been on his psychiatry rotation and he's decided that he is definitely not interested in psych. A top contender for specializing is still emergency medicine.
What a good big sister!
I looooove it when Annabelle wants to cuddle.
We had a story/movie party in our living room the other night. We blew up an air mattress in our living room, told some stories, popped some popcorn, and watched "Toy Story". It was also nice to watch the rain and wind out the window. We were supposed to get some aftermath storms from hurricane Isaac but we didn't see much.
These are Annabelle's "girls". She takes care of her baby dolls and bears all day, just like Mommy takes care of Elsie. It cracks me up to find things around the house that she has done with them.
I love her crazy curly hair.
Elsie is really good at reaching for toys and playing with them.
(P.S.- We are getting family pictures taken next week so we will finally have a family picture with Elsie in it at the top of our blog. We still don't have a good family picture since she was born. I hope they turn out well!)
Such happy girls! I love the pictures of them together!
