Goodbye Maryland, Back in the South

We left Maryland a couple of weeks ago and headed back down south.  It was incredibly fantastic to be home for such a long visit.  We had an amazing time.  Thank you Mom, Dad, & Keith for all of your love and fun while we were there!  Here are some of our happenings during our last days in Maryland:

We visited with Jeff's childhood friend and it was lovely to meet him.

We went to the D.C. LDS temple again and took the girls this time to see it.

When Annabelle sees a picture of the temple she loves to say, "Temple.  Belle married.  Mommy, Daddy, Belle, Elsie, forever."

Went to the beach again!  This time Grandma and Grandpa came too.

Jeff and I had a blast jumping and riding the waves with Keith.

On our way back to Louisiana we stopped at Jeff's house in Missouri for a few days.  We were so glad we got to see our good friends, the Cunninghams!  Annabelle had so much fun playing with cute Noah.

When we arrived home Elsie had her 2 month check up.  This girl is growing nice and healthy.  She is 11 lb. 7 oz. and 22.5 in.  Since we arrived home Jeff has started his surgery rotation which keeps him quite busy, while these 2 little girls keep me very busy.  He has enjoyed surgery so far except for the busy schedule aspect.

She gives some really sweet smiles but we haven't been able to capture one on camera yet.

I don't remember what happened this day and why Annabelle was so tired (and sick with a cold), but she laid on her floor near me while I was feeding Elsie and she fell asleep.  This NEVER happens.  Anyhow, she slept there for about an hour.

Big sister helps Elsie with her pacifier quite often.

She also likes to try and pump milk like Mommy does.  Sometimes she puts her baby doll there to feed too.

Our little chunkster.  She has been a very good baby and an amazing sleeper, thankfully!

Annabelle likes to do tummy time with Elsie.

The girls on the 4th of July!

Elsie at 2 1/2 months.

Annabelle did some swimming in her pool on the 4th.  She also got to go to the kids $1 movie and we did a BBQ with some friends.

Of course we had to do some fireworks on the 4th.  We just did a few on our driveway and Annabelle loved them.

  2. Oh, and I'm so sorry annabelle got a cold. I'm sure that was our fault. I hope everyone else avoided it!
