One minute she is this sweet angel...
Annabelle got pretty sick last week which has made her quite the handful lately. She had been running really high fevers on and off for about a week. This last Sunday night it got to the point where we couldn't get it to go down and it was almost 105. We took her to the pediatric ER at about 11 pm and they diagnosed her with tonsillitis and prescribed some antibiotics. After stopping by the pharmacy, we finally got home and to bed around 1:30 am. Then she woke up around 5 am and threw up. Too many nights have been long like this and I am ready for her to be a good sleeper once again. They put her on antibiotics and a few days later she still wasn't doing any better, in fact her fevers got worse. She continued to have a 104 fever on and off. We took her to the doctor Tuesday and they did some blood work and inserted an IV for her to receive fluids for dehydration and a stronger antibiotic. It was a long rough day for her. Anytime a nurse/doctor would enter the room she would cry. She continued to say throughout the day "all done. bye bye." Thankfully she has started to feel better and has not had anymore fevers. She is finally beginning to sleep better which is much needed for us, especially since this baby is due any day now. We're just glad that she is beginning to feel better! Sometimes she is still a cranky monster though but we love her!
Our 2nd baby girl is making some progress. At my doctor appointment yesterday he said she has dropped and I'm 1.5 centimeters dilated.
So I noticed the other day that one of her purses was really full of stuff. I decided to go through it and see what she has collected in there. This is what I found. That's a lot of paper.
poor girl! having that high of a fever for so long has to be rough!!! good luck with #2! hope she'll be here soon for ya!
