Our newest angel

We are so thankful to have our new baby girl here safe and healthy. She was born today at 1:58 pm. The labor and delivery all went very smoothly. We arrived at the hospital around 5:30 this morning. They had my pitocin going around 6-ish and then broke my water about 8:30. I decided to get the epidural around 10 am and that was a nice relief to have. The labor was progressing really well. I was dilated 3 cm so Jeff decided to go get something to eat. They checked me just after he left and then I was suddenly 8 cm. I then started to panic that he wouldn't be back in time but he made it with good time to spare. It was then time to push. I pushed on and off for about 20 minutes so it wasn't too bad. Elsie did great and we are just so grateful that everything went so well. She has been wonderful. Her feedings are going well and she is good at latching on. I am doing great also. She is so cute and sweet and we love her so much already! Annabelle seems to really like her also. We feel so blessed to have this new spirit in our family. She is beautiful. We first thought she looked a lot like Annabelle but now we think she looks quite different. Either way they are both such pretty girls.
